Botley, The Coding Robot!
Botley, the small robot with the big saucer eyes, introduces children to their first independent coding through playing. He is steered via a handy remote control, so that neither a PC nor other technical devices are required. Step by step, Botley introduces young programmers to coding as they “teach” him more and more skills using the 40 coding cards. Botley can learn to follow a coded path through an obstacle course, avoid obstacles or move objects. You can even search for secret functions and other tricks (pssst! Botley can say “Hi”, for example). The colourful robot gets children enthusiastic about computer science and mathematics at an early age – an ideal preparation for the STEM subjects!
